SILICA SAND AND AGGREGATE SPECIFICATIONS
![]()
- Note:
- All silica sand or aggregate use with EPO-TOXY must be dry when used. For best results use a bagged medium grade all silica sand blasting sand.
Why? Bagged sand blasting sand is consistently sized, cean and dry. Avoid using sand that is not properly sized, dirty, trashy or sand that is damp or wet.
- MIXING RATIO: 1 x 1
Add equal parts of A and B compounds. Thoroughly mix. Then add 1 part sand to 1 part thoroughly mixed A and B compounds.
The amount of sand added may also depend on the type of repair. ie: deeper spalled concrete repair may require two or three parts sand ot each throughly mixed A and B compound; 1/4" to 1" crack repair may require 1 part #8 sieve size sand added to throughly mixed compound so that the compound will self level when pored into the prepared routed crack.
