SURFACE PREPARATION
Step One
- A) Clean surface, remove grease or any bond inhibiting substances.
- B) Stir EPO-TOXY™ thoroughly. Resin and Hardener are manufactured with multiple viscosity products. It is important to stir or roll container prior to mixing.
Step Two
NOTE: Pour equal amounts of A and B EPO-TOXY™ into mixing container. Add silica sand at a ratio of four parts sand to one part thoroughly mixed A & B compound. Repair all holes, cracks and pit marks in surface to be repaired.
- C) Pour equal amounts of A and B EPO-TOXY™ into mixing container,(Plastic or metal). Stir until one color.
- D) Add small amounts of color pigment while stirring, until desired color is reached.
Step Three
- E) Apply mixed EPO-TOXY™ compound to surface with paint type roller or trowel approximately 1/16" thick. (For small areas a paint brush or foam rubber brush can be used)
- F) Broadcast fine sand blasting sand evenly over surface.
- G) Let surface set approx. four hours. (Depending on outside temperature.)
- H) Sweep surface clean.
Xylene or any aromatic solvent is used to clean up tools. Tools may be cleaned up with water if EPO-TOXY™ is still wet after installation.
